Sauce Ingredients

- 1 each lemon zest and juice

Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season cod fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
Sear cod fillets for 2 minutes per side until golden, then remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in coconut milk, heavy cream, lemon zest, lemon juice, turmeric, and smoked paprika.
Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
Return the seared cod fillets to the skillet, spooning some sauce over them.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cod is flaky and cooked through.
Remove the skillet from the oven. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the dish and garnish with lemon slices if desired.
