Caramelized Onion Pasta with Chilli Oil

Pasta and Sauce
- 2 servings spaghetti
- 2 tablespoon chilli oil
- ½ cup cream
- 1 large red onion
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 3-4 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- 1-2 teaspoon salt to taste
- parmesan optionally
- chopped parsley optionally
Cooking Instructions
Start by cutting a red onion into thin slices.
Heat up water, once boiling add in 2 teaspoon salt and spaghetti. Cook according to the package instructions.
In a separate pan, add olive oil, heat on medium for a few minutes until hot (not smoking), add onions and caramelize for roughly 6-7 minutes.
Once caramelized, add chopped garlic cloves, chilli oil and cream.
Add 1 tablespoon italian seasoning, salt to taste and optionally add in parmesan and chopped parsley.
Mix it all up and enjoy!
