Ingredients
  

Chicken Filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded, use rotisserie chicken or any pre-cooked chicken to save time
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded, for a stretchy, melty texture
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded, adds a sharp, flavorful kick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil used to sauté the garlic and add richness
  • 2 cloves garlic minced, provides fresh garlic flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder enhances the garlicky taste
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder adds a mild onion flavor
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas make sure they’re large enough to hold all the fillings
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted, used to brush the wraps before toasting
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped, for garnish

Cooking Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a medium-sized pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant and lightly golden.
  • Add the shredded chicken to the pan with the garlic. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir everything together and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is heated through and well-coated with the seasonings.
  • Remove the pan from heat and stir in the mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Mix until the cheese begins to melt and combines with the chicken.
  • Lay each tortilla flat on a clean surface. Divide the cheesy chicken mixture evenly among the four tortillas, placing the filling in the center of each one. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly to create a wrap.
  • Brush the outside of each wrap with melted butter. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the wraps from the skillet and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Slice in half, if desired, and serve hot!

Notes

These wraps are great for meal prep! Make the cheesy chicken filling ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days. Assemble and toast the wraps when you’re ready to enjoy them.
