  • Melt the Butter: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Sear the Scallops: Place seasoned scallops in the skillet. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden-brown and opaque. Set aside.
  • Sauté the Garlic: Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, stirring frequently.
  • Add the Cream: Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, stirring to combine with garlic. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Incorporate the Cheese: Whisk in ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Season and Finish: Add lemon juice and chopped parsley to the sauce. Return scallops to warm through for 1 minute.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Plate scallops over pasta or bread, drizzling with creamy sauce.
