Sauce and Cheese

  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Spread 24 frozen chicken nuggets in a single layer and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and flip each nugget.
  • Spoon 1 cup marinara sauce evenly over the tops, then sprinkle with 1½ cups shredded mozzarella and ¼ cup Parmesan.
  • Return to oven and bake for 6-9 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  • For extra crispiness, broil 1 minute at the end, watching closely.
  • Serve warm over cooked spaghetti or rice, or pair with a salad for a quick dinner idea.

Notes

For air fryer, cook nuggets at 375°F for 8-9 minutes, flipping halfway. Use a rimmed baking sheet to catch any melty cheese or sauce overflow.
