Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.33 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter melted

Cream Cheese Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed

Pecan Filling

  • 1 cups packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cups light corn syrup
  • 0.25 cups unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 1.5 cups chopped pecans

Preparation

  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press into a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Chill for 10–15 minutes.
  • Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract; fold in whipped topping. Spread this mixture over the chilled crust.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter until bubbling. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs. Stir in chopped pecans and let cool slightly.
  • Pour the cooled pecan mixture over the cream cheese layer and spread evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Slice with a warm knife before serving; enjoy with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.

Notes

Best served chilled and can be topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
