Ingredients
  

Marinade

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons Tajin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 4 fillets salmon 4-6 ounces each

Mango Salsa

  • 1 large ripe avocado diced
  • 1 large mango diced
  • ½ red bell pepper diced
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro finely chopped
  • ½ jalapeño seeded and minced
  • ¼ cup red onion finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt plus more to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, maple syrup, lime juice, garlic, and spices. Add salmon fillets and coat well. Marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  • While the salmon marinates, prepare the mango salsa by mixing diced avocado, mango, bell pepper, cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (400-450°F). Brush grill grates with oil.
  • Grill salmon fillets for about 8 minutes or until they flake easily with a fork.
  • Serve the grilled salmon topped with mango salsa.
